Ionamin is used
as an appetite
suppressant. It

How Taken
You should take
Ionamin on an
empty stomach,
once daily,
30-60 minutes
before
breakfast. The
tablet may be
broken or cut in
half. But do not
crush or chew
the tablet.
Because this
medication may
cause
sleeplessness,
avoid taking a
dose late in the
day. Take this
medication as
prescribed. Do
not take it more
often or longer
than directed.
Missed Dose
If you miss a
dose of Ionamin,
do not double
the next dose.
Instead, skip
the missed dose
and start again
with your usual
dosing
schedule..
Possible Side
Effects
Typical effects
include dry
mouth,
sleeplessness,
irritability,
stomach upset or
constipation
occurring only
in the first few
days as your
body adjusts to
Ionamin. If
these effects
persist or
become annoying
or troubling,
inform your
doctor.
Storage
Store it at
room temperature
away from
sunlight and
moisture. Keep
this and all
medications out
of the reach of
children.
